Stylist MARI selects a pure silk kimono and obi based on your personality, preferences, and the image you wish to express.
Through a short questionnaire and gentle communication, we create a one-of-a-kind coordination that reflects who you are — allowing you to feel truly yourself in kimono.
On the day of your experience, a professional kimono dresser will visit your accommodation or preferred location, preparing you in a calm and private space.After dressing, you will receive a mini movement lesson, so you can enjoy your kimono naturally, beautifully, and with ease.
As you step into the streets of Kyoto, the selected colors and patterns come together with the seasonal scenery, quietly enhancing your presence and creating a graceful moment that feels both timeless and deeply personal.

Full rental set of authentic silk kimono, obi, and accessories selected by stylist MARI
On-site kimono dressing at your accommodation or designated location (Available within Kyoto city. If you wish for a location outside the city, please feel free to consult with us.)*
Mini etiquette lesson (basic movements and posture)
Total experience time: approx. 5 hours (Includes 1 hour for dressing and 30 minutes for changing)*
Please return by 30 minutes before the end time
Optional Add-on:
Full-Day Rental (Return Next Morning) + ¥2,200 (tax included)
Recommended for those who wish to enjoy Kyoto at a more relaxed pace. You can extend your 5-hour rental to next-morning return and take your time exploring the city in kimono.

The listed price includes the kimono rental fee and on-site dressing service.
Hair styling is not included. Please arrange it on your own if needed.
All kimonos and obi are pre-owned (vintage) items. While each piece is carefully maintained, please understand that minor signs of wear may exist.
Size availability is limited. For guests over 166 cm tall, we can still style the kimono beautifully using alternative dressing techniques.
Accessories (such as obi-jime and obi-age) are generally selected by us, but if you have a preferred style or image, we’ll do our best to coordinate accordingly. Please note your request in the “Additional Requests or Preferences” section of the reservation form.
If the kimono becomes stained or damaged, you may be asked to cover the repair costs (for repairable stains: approximately ¥5,000–10,000; for irreparable damage: approximately ¥50,000).
